Description |
In an area with considerable
stellar absorption, NGC 5927 shines at mag 8.3 amidst a fine starry field
of the far southern constellation of Lupus (the Wolf). It is broadly
compressed and contains stars of mag 15 and fainter. Distance is
about 24.000 light years.
