| Description |
Surprisingly multi-faceted, mag
10.4 spiral galaxy NGC 1398 features a transversal bar with a very bright
central core, all within a bright circular central spiral structure which
is easily
mistaken for the full extent of the galaxy. There is a very faint outer
set of blue spiral arms however, that brings the total size up to 7.1 x
5.3 arcminutes. |
