As it is neither in my nature nor within my ability to do anything sophisticated, it is with the utmost sobriety that I have gone about creating this site dedicated to two wonderful passions :

Lookout sky and travels

Phew! I’ve done it after all! Taking succesful photos may be a time-consuming business, but it takes even longer to write about them. But, as far as I’m concerned, photos without a caption are a bit like a sky without stars. In the beginning, I intended to write a long introductory page consisting only of text with connections at the end. In fact, I can’t imagine entering into any sort of conteven a virtual one, without introducing myself. Didn't our wise forebears advise "When act, you enter someone’s house, introduce yourself ". However, I was advised not to by people with more experience than myself on what’s done and not done on the Web, so I’m taking the risk of situating the connections after this introduction which is really a bit long. I say taking a risk as, in order to be on the same wavelength as this site, you have to take time to read the pages "about". If you don’t, you’re not only depriving yourself of the operating instructions, but also of the means to infuse this virtual coldness with a little human warmth.

And for the Lucky Luke of the mouse, here are some very important bits of advice :

* In order to make the most of the pictures, the minimum graphic resolution should be 800 x 600, 24 bits of colours and the full screen function of your navigator activated. Moreover, I recommend starting with the Test picture, to check the adjustment of light and contrast, as with black and white photos, you can’t get away with anything less than perfection. And of course, turn down the lights.

After all that, I hope you enjoy yourself on this, site which I dedicate to all those who show a passionate interest in starry skies, whether they’re under shelter or not.

With this airline, I could negotiate the transport of my equipment.
