Variable Star V587 Lyr
TK5 Lyr



 
 

Discovered  by T. V. Kryachko of Sternberg Astronomical Institute  (Russia) on Moscow archive plates taken in JD 2439345-2444436. The B band  magnitude changes in the range 14.3- < 17. (see IBVS 5058) 
This object is a suspected UG type. The star shows frequent outburst, with a possible cycle around 60 days.

 Astrometry of V587 Lyr done with CCD images taken by  D. Rodriguez (September. 15.893 (UT), with respect to the USNO A2  reference frame (~100 stars, mean residual ~ 0".3) 
Software: Astrometrica by Herbert Raab (Austria) 
  R.A.  = 19:17:26.46 
  Decl. = +37:10:40.9  (J2000.0). 

Observatory: Guadarrama Observatory, IAU station 458 
Telescope:  0.20-m f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain + CCD ST9 

Photometry: 16.4 CV, unfiltered CCD observations calibrated 
 on V-magnitude sequence(=CV).
