Discovered on June 26.5494 UT by K. Itagaki, Yamagata, Japan, using 0.21-m refl. + unfiltered CCD. Confirmed on June 26.565 UT using 0.60-m refl. + unfiltered CCD, when the object was mag about 10.2. The object was below mag about 16.0 on June 25.666 UT (0.21-m refl.).

Position (2000.0) :  R.A. = 17 52 25.79, Decl. = -21 26 21.5

Setup: Celestron 11 telescope (0.28-m diameter) + LISA spectrograph (sampling = 2.1 A/pixel - R = 950 - 23 microns slit) + Atik314L+ CCD camera - Data reduction : ISIS
