04 March 2010 = first digital camera picture with the Takahashi mount
M42 in Orion
Composition of 42 x 30 sec exposures, offset, dark and flat corrected with IRIS v5.57.
Standard addition technique, gamma correction, white balance corrected manually.
I did not want to attenuate too much the blue layer as it contains a lot of useful signal; for instance the weak structures on the very left of the picture would almost disappear with a better white balance.
