Picture of M1 at the beginning of the night. 60 frames of 30s each (30 min total exposure).
The picture was calibrated with a high quality flat, obtained by imaging the sky at the end of the night (dawn). Nevertheless the sky background had to be flattened with Iris for an optimal result.
