WHAT IS IT LIKE AT A MEETING OF THE CLUB?

  • The members gather around a more or less elongated table depending on how many are in attendance.
  • No roll-call for the members, no need to call them to order either, all goes along in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
  • As for the members, you will find experts as well as beginners. There are many exchanges of information, many questions asked and just as many answers offered. There is no shame in asking questions because patience and leniency are always present with the members. There is always someone to help you understand or to explain something, for example: how to use a starwheel, etc...
  • The more advanced will transmit what they have learned to the others and all this in a relaxed fashion. Lectures or conferences are organized on our premises where invited guests from other clubs or professionnal astornomers come to share their knowledge with us. These meetings are as always open to anyone.
  • What matters here is the common passion which happens to be astronomy and not what you do for a living or what situation you are in outside of the club.
  • To add to a nicely crammed evening, our meetings breaks are capped with coffee and refreshments.

There you go! That was the outline of what our club is like. Below you will find some pics from some of our meetings/conferences/events. If all this fits with your expectations, then come join us!
