NGC 6188 in Ara

This emission nebula in Ara is not very far from Scorpion, being only 3° South of the border. The nebula is excited by the open cluster NGC 6193, that is the core of the Ara OB1 stellar association.
The bright planetary nebula at bottom is GN 16.30.2, also named NGC 6164, with a striking shape.

Very bad seeing, nearly impossible to get focus. Short exposure because of late start due to trip to the dunes for sunset.
