NGC 6334, Cat's Paw Nebula

Click for hires

The resemblance of this nebula to a Cat's Paw is great. Unfortunately for Northern Hemisphere observers it is always very low on the horizon (dec -36°). Tha'ts why this was one of the top priorities for our imaging expedition. For a wider field of view, imaged with a Pentax 75, see here.
