Zodiacal Light

From the Italian skys is very rare to see the Zodiacal Light. It needs very transparent nights and dark sites. The Zodiacal Light is caused by the refection of the solar light by dust particles scattered on the ecliptic plane. In fact in the image is clear that the bright band cross two objects that are nearly exactly on the ecliptic: Mars (below) and Regulus (top). At the top right corner there is also a dim meteor.
