They are a very good binoculars for the
wide field observation and maximum brightness. The exit pupil of 6,7mm
is ideal to get maximum brightness on faint objects as diffuse nebulas.
The pupil extraction is excelltent: it comfortably allows observations
with the glasses.
But it's under the dark skies that it
gives big satisfactions: spectacular panoramas of the Milky Way and its
nebulas, great visions of M31 to the extreme borders, nebulas such as North
America and Veil are visible magnificently.
Using a pair of UHC filters (from Howie
Glatter) it is possible to find weak nebulas, often visible only in photos:
California, the Monkey Head, the Flame...
