Mars imaged June 25, 2001 at 21.30 U.T., through a Takahashi Mewlon 250mm at F/24, on a Starlight HX5-16 CCD camera. Average of twelve 0.2 sec. exposures. Seeing 1 (Antoniadi scale).The exceptional seeing conditions allowed to take a nice image, altought the red planet was only 22 degrees above the southern horizon
