Begi hutsez ikusgai, irudiaren erdian dagoen Scutum Izar Hodei distiratsua, Scutum konstelazioko Esne Bidearen eremu distiratsuena da. Barnard nebulosa ilun asko daude inguruan eta irudiaren erdian M11 izar multzo nabarmena kokatzen da. Haren atzean dauden objektuak iluntzen dituen hodei molekular ilun erraldoi bat ikusten da irudiaren eskuin aldean, Serpens Cauda-n, C Ser izarren inguruan.

Visible to the naked eye, the bright Scutum Star Cloud in the center of the frame is the most bright section of the Milky Way in Scutum constellation. It is home to many of Barnard’s dark nebula and a remarkable open cluster M11 located just on the center of the image. A gigantic dark molecular cloud which obscures the objects behind it, is seen here in Serpens Cauda in the right of the frame around C Ser star.
