NGC7027 Planetary Nebula in Cygnus

(RA 21h 07.1m , Dec. +42°14', 8.5 mag., 15" in diameter)

This protoplanetary nebula is located near North America Nebula Complex and about 5°30' SEE of a Cygni (see finder chart below).

The above image was taken on October 23, 2000 from Harrowsmith, Ontario. Cookbook 245 LDC camera was used on Celestron Ultima 8 SCT with an eyepiece projection to achieve f20. White exposures (15 x 60 sec.) were combined with cyan, magenta and yellow-filtered images (4 x 30 sec. each) using AIP4WIN software and the color image was furter adjusted using Lab color space with Corel PhotoPaint 8.

Only a quater of the original Cookbook frame is shown. North is to the left.

Map created in Guide 7.0 - 7°45' x 10°. North is up.
