Astronomy with a 60 mm refractor

 

Photography

Photography with a 60mm scope is quite possible. Of course, for these low-cost instruments, the support suffers from the lack of rigidity, but with some imagination and handcraft, it becomes possible. 

The Moon and the Sun are the easiest targets with this instrument. For the Moon, here are photographs by Yvon Cordier

For planets, it is better to use a webcam. As for the Deep Sky, photography is possible only with a robust mount.
