Eta Carinae NGC3372
Field centered on R.A. 10h 45' & Dec. -59° 30'
The Keyhole nebula, perhaps the most popular nebula of the southern sky. It is very bright and large 4 times the full moon, so a mosaic of two shots was necessary to cover it properly. Well visible in this image also the nebula NGC3324 and the clusters NGC3293, CR230, CR228 and CR233 |
