The Big One
Animation of the great Jupiter and its planet Io taken on 02 December 2000 coupling aphocally a digital camera to the telescope eyepiece. Each of the three images used is an average of 9 shots, first exposure set was taken at 23.28 L.T., second set at 23.58, last set again half an hour later. The nine shots were chosen among a larger set because less affected by seeing. My first attempt to this technique. Click here to see the three images strip. |
