SH2-264 and Meissa

Field centered on R.A. 05h 35' & Dec. +10° 00'

 

The fish shaped nebula above the middle of the line joining Betelgeuse to Bellatrix, the two Orion's shoulders, is known as SH2-264, a very large and faint nebular complex that surrounds the asterism of Meissa, the Hunter's head.
