The Magellanic Clouds

Field centered on R.A. 03h 10' & Dec. -70° 30'

 

Like M32 and M110 for the great Andromeda Galaxy these are the two little sisters of our Galaxy. Once I saw them for the first time shining in the sky some years ago I realized that no other names but "clouds" could give a better idea of their appearance. Beautiful and charming.
