I don't have a CCD camera, but my association (Circolo AStrofili Talmassons) does. The equipment is a 14" (350mm) F/5 Newtonian, with a SBIG ST9E camera at the first focus, a little limited in resolution but very strong in sensitivity (under optimal sky conditions, it can image 19-magnitudine stars in 1-minute exposure).
The field of view is about 20'X20', while the resolution is 2.3" / pixel. Most images are sum of 2-4 exposures of 60 seconds, or longer when the mount allowed.
Since 2007 we have a SBIG ST-10XME, with wider field (30'x20') and resolution (in binning 2x2 is 1.6"/pixel). Now we have a homemade filter wheel for the color shots.
