1999

Jupiter is the largest planet visible, but its features are of very low contrast. Perhaps because of this my first images of this planet with a 4.5 inch telescope weren't very good.

2000

The next year I was able to use a 8'' scope and results were better... But still the images showed little contrast... At the time I used CreativeWebcam II (CMOS) and Logitech Quickcam (BW) which didn't help either!

2001

That year I bought my 8'' SCT and finally my images started to improve!

2002

The Logitech Quickcam VC (color CMYL CCD) was a fine addition to my setup in 2002.

2003

A new adition to my gear was the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. This camera is a Toucam clone and gives very good images.

2004

A weak astronomical year for me, with only a couple of decent Jovian images.
