The Venus Transit was observed from Setubal with my friend Paulo Coelho. I used a Hi8 Video camera for full disk views and a 8'' Dobsonian for image projection. Time was set using a shortware broadcast (9996 kHz) from IMVP- Institute of Metrology for Time and Space - Mendelevo, Russia.
Results were:
- Real AU - 149597870 km
- Calculated AU - 149703192 km
- Average Error - 0.070%
