published by Sterrenwacht Regulus vzw Belgium

This unique CD contains an Interactive book about Deep Sky Imaging with a CCD Camera. Music can be played simultaneously as you browse its pages and images. Besides text there are also animated pages that show the actual steps in processing images. This is a valuable reference to anyone considering CCD imaging. There are also many valuable tips for experienced imagers. Also contained on this disk is a large collection of Software and Shareware including current versions of software for commercial CCD Cameras such as the Starlight Xpress MX5. There are also sample raw images that will allow you to do your own image processing. Other software includes Deep Space, Mega Star, Astrometrica. Many of the programs will run directly from the CD but it is recommended that they be copied to the hard drive. There are over 250 images of many NGC and Messier objects taken with various CCD Cameras. This CD is very informative in that is shows the state at which CCD Imaging is at this point in time. These imagers are Amateur Astronomers just like you and I. This CD gives is very realistic in what can be accomplished by an amateur with a CCD Camera and for that reason alone is very valuable. Price $39.50 US plus $3.50 shipping. ($43.00 total).
