The 430mm telescope

My first big size telescope made. The primary miror is made in zerodur glass and the focal lenght is 1525mm (f/3,5). It was made by Dany Cardoen. This telescope is used with a 0,73x focal reducer witch give a focal ratio of 2,7! The CCD camera is in front of the primary miror without any secondary. White parts are steel, and the truss is made of carbon tubes.

I made it for my friend Jean-Benoit De Vanssay.

Today, this telescope is remotly used at Dax obseravtory. Here is the weather and webcams of this observatory
