Takahashi Ritchey-Chretien Telescopes

BRC 250 (1998)

This telescope is the first Takahashi Ritchey-Chretien Telescope. Both miroir have hyperbolic shape and there is a two lens corrector inside the focuser. It gives a giant 100mm diameter field which allow using all CCD camera as 6X7 or 6x9 argentic cameras

Optical System: Baker Ritchey-Cretien
Aperture: 250mm
Corrector assembly: 2 elements
Focal Length: 1268mm
Focal Ratio: f/5.0
Image Circle: Ø100mm/ 5°
Weight: 15.6kg
Main tube material: Carbon fiber

FRC 300 (2002)

The new Takahashi Ritchey-Chretien Telescope. Both miroir have hyperbolic shape and there is a two lens corrector inside the focuser. It gives a giant 90mm diameter field which allow using all CCD camera as 6X7 or 6x9 argentic cameras. The temperature compensated secondary holder insures pinpoint stars during long exposures. The dedicated f/5.9 reducer produces a 36mmØ flat circle for CCD imaging at this shorter focal length.

Optical System: Ritchey-Chretien
Aperture: 300mm
Secondary: 125mm
Focal Ratio: f/7.8
Image Circle: Ø90mm
Focal Length: 2348mm
Focal Length (with reducer): 1770mm
Focal Ratio (with reducer): f/5.9
Image Circle (with reducer):  Ø36mm
Tube Weight: 30kgs
