Due to technical problems with the LHIRES spectrometer, I switched to the digital camera. This night I did spectroscopy by discussing with other observers.

Acquisition
Instrument = Vixen VISAC VC200L with focal reducer (D=200mm, F/D=6.4)
Camera = Canon EOS 450D, filter not removed
Software = EOS utility

Processing
Software = IRIS v5.58


Comet Garradd C/2009 P1

The comet was in Pegasus, position close to alpha=21:29:50, delta=+12:55:20 with mag=8.8 (MPC).
One single exposure of 3 min.

8 exposures of 3 min. The red parts are rather weak, due to the IR cutting filter that has not been removed from the camera.
