 Who I am

I have been an amateur astronomer since I was a child. This book was a present from my mother to my father, and it has been a source of inspiration for me. This unit is a second edition of "Astronomie" from Lucien Rudaux and Gérard de Vaucouleurs and was printed in 1966. I remember I read the book from start to end, but specially the chapters that dealt with amateur astronomy and telescopes. My first telescope was a 50 mm, with a small table tripod and terrible eypieces !

I love telescopes.

As a well-known observer used to say, telescopes are time machines that will take you further away than any other means of transport. Although refractors are not the most powerful telescopes, they are certainly the most perfect instruments and will produce exquisite images, except that they are expensive and difficult to make. This Takahashi unit is a, apochromat amd is a favourite of mine.
